Awesome tute dear. I prefer the Wet Application over Dry merely because it gives that natural glowy look and also prevents the minerals from flying around the room...lol I sometimes use the sponge (not the red one though) or my flap top buffer in a small ramekin.
I've done dry app. then sprayed it or pat my skin with a damp cloth as well for the less powdery finish, but this week has been my first go with damp app.
Thanks so much for posting this! Ruby/Susan give me this sponge a while ago but I'm not sure how to use it so I just keep it in my drawer :). It looks easy enough so I'm gonna try it. But it looks like we have to use more compare to brush, is it so? Thanks Erika!
I re-watched the vid and saw that you only used a small amount, but then I thought you already have flawless skin to begin with! You don't need much lol.
great vid! Now, I'll have to play with my red sponge...that I've been hanging onto for a l-o-n-g while and only used for facial cleansing. LOL! I agree with Vely...you have naturally flawless skin to begin with, but this vid was very helpful with seeing how simple using this sponge really is. Thanks!
I have seen many good instructional videos from you and always am eager to see more. You have been of benefit to my daytime makeup look as well as my evening look. Thank you is much more felt than possible to be expressed in this venue.
You are just the cutest thing. I wish we lived close to each other- I'd be bugging you all the time to hang out- your personality totally shows through in your vids! My application is pretty much the same- only I cut my sponge into fourths and use one piece as my sponge instead of the big one. I also just spray my swirly bowl (loving Hello Kitty BTW) a few times with mist, sprinkle in foundation and then swirl sponge into and slap on the face. LOL
You sound just like me- been here 3 years and as soon as I find someone to hang with they move. My one friend here is in process of trying to sell house. I do get to chit chat with other moms at track meets during spring but summer, I'm on my own. LOL
OM Gosh, How did I miss this????!!!! Please forgive my very late reply, for some reason I am not getting updates from Vox in a timely manner. Thank you so much for doing this tute, your skin looks amazing w/such little product. And I have no idea what you were saying b/c I lost the volume on my computer today, grrrrrrrrrrrrr but the video was still great. I also love your Hello Kitty bowl! Thanks again, FF :)
I use about the same amount as you do, though my face is still spotty from scars, but I'm kinda over those scars - I'm willing to take it time to fade, however long *that* might be. Lol. Now I first tried the sponge folded over, hahaha, I'm such a doofus - I accidentally let go of the sponge and it hit me in the face. :) Then I took Dayna's advice and cut into quarters. Way better than hitting myself with a sponge, for crying out loud! Though it was a little heartbreaking to cut it up - it looked sooo nice all round and spongy.

I like this a lot FaceFab. It explains it all out perfectly clear.
