If you're ever longing to create the Beach Hair-Do, this tutorial will do it for ya. It appears super easy just using a simple flat iron. Perfect for the Beach, don't ya think?!
I've tried this before and it doesn't work as well for me, I think it has to do with my flat iron, I need the type that have the round edges to be able to flip it right. But it does work.
You said it yourself..LOL You do need the one with the round edges in order to achieve the waves. My hair is naturally wavy but i would still love this give this a try someday.
This is how my hair is naturally!!!! But if i want to do a more refine look, or curls, this is a good way to achieve it!!! And no, I don't have the right iron!!!! The one she has looks like the ceramic, round edge!!! A guy at the mall did this for me once, and it looked really cute!!!
You and I are the lucky ones......LOL We are naturally wavy BUT like you said it's an absolute clever technique for a REFINED look:-) I will add a small iron to my wish list. If i ever come across one on sale i sure will get it. Wal Mart might be a good option for these, huh?
Love this technique. I have lots of very straight hair so it would take me forever but I've always wanted wavy hair without getting a perm since I already dye my hair and don't need additional chemicals. I'm thinking of going the way of henna, do you know of a good brand?
This sure would be awesome for your straight hair. For henna, i recommend HennaSooq. If you go back, i've done a post on henna. Basically it's the BEST alternative to chemical hair dyes. Her (Khadija) is also on Vox. She'd be willing to answer your question. Good luck and i'm glad you're also looking into Henna.
I appreciate a great tutorial. Thanks for the information! I got a great quality flat iron here: http://www.myhairstylingtools.com/ They have good customer service too, which is very important to me.
